Search and Rescue

The Garfield County Search and Rescue was called out on 2 searches in the past 4 days.  Lost hikers, both in the Escalante vacinity, separated from their groups.  Both hikers were found safe and healthy.  Do not separate from your group.  Bring PLENTY of WATER and FOOD.  Make sure you have a map or maps of the area you are hiking and know how to read them.  Safety First.
